On Monday, January 6, 2025, Unichain Sepolia underwent a scheduled upgrade to enable [permissionless fault proofs](https://specs.optimism.io/fault-proof/index.html). This milestone supported the broader rollout of Unichain as an open, trust-minimized system.

> **Action Required: Re-Prove Pending Withdrawals!**
>
> We recommended not starting any new withdrawals within 7 days of the upgrade, as withdrawals still pending on the day of the upgrade needed to be restarted.
> 
>   For any still pending on January 6:
> 
>   * These withdrawals no longer processed automatically.
>   * After confirmation that the upgrade completed, users needed to re-prove these withdrawals.
